Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375F(190C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually blend dry mixture into the wet mixture.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let stand on baking sheet for 2 minutes before removing to cool on wire racks.
